Your product packaging is an advertisement for your brand, so make sure it sends the right message. Your package concepts and materials should stand out from the crowd and build brand recognition by having your brand name and logo front and center.
Customers do not like being duped by packaging that misrepresents what a product looks like or how it functions. Be sure your design depicts the product accurately in order to retain customer trust.
There’s no simple formula for what makes a product “authentic,” but it’s still a critical part of a successful design. At a minimum, the design should capture the best parts of the product while not attempting to mimic the design of competitor products.
